Project: Estudio Atemporal
Location: Tepoztlán, Morelos, México
Area: 412 m2
Year: 2021
As part of the development of the architectural proposal, a series of design values were identified and explored in order to establish a strong foundation for the project. By understanding the site’s particular conditions, its boundaries, and primary views, strategies of containment and focus are proposed for both the views and the architectural program.
By taking advantage of the plastic and organizing qualities of a module, rhythm, cohesion, and sequence are generated across the built volumes and their connecting elements, ensuring organic flows of activity between the different volumes while preserving the possibility of autonomy and varying degrees of privacy.
Considering the geographic context in which the project is located, the plastic qualities of the site and their potential for aesthetic interpretation are carefully assessed.
