We are an architecture studio based in Mexico City, founded in 2011 by Luciana de la Garza Arregui and Paul Curuchet Pi Suñer. Our practice is grounded in the conviction that architecture must achieve a precise balance between spatial quality, functionality, and longevity over time.
Prior to the design process, we conduct a rigorous analysis of each project, considering the physical, historical, and cultural context of the site. We research materials, construction systems, and patterns of use, understanding architecture as a discipline shaped by accumulated knowledge and its contemporary reinterpretation.
Our practice unfolds continuously between the design studio and the construction site. Close attention to the building process and material experimentation allows us to refine decisions related to proportion, materiality, and aging, ensuring the coherence of the project at every stage. We work across a range of scales and programs, approaching each project through an integrated design methodology.
The name Atemporal defines a conceptual position rather than a stylistic one. In contrast to the transience of trends, we focus on the fundamental principles of architecture: proportion, honest materiality, and spaces conceived to endure and respond precisely to those who inhabit them.
