CASA SCHOOR

Project: Estudio Atemporal
Location: Valle de Bravo, Estado de México,  México
Area: 1,418 m2
Year: 2022

The project’s principles are articulated through an analysis of all interpretative scales, examining their relationship with the landscape, views, orientations, and the topographic features of both the immediate and distant surroundings.

The design establishes a dialogue between the bold presence of an architectural volume and the landscape, using its volumetric purity and the diverse experiences it fosters. These are set within environments shaped by various activities and atmospheres, wrapped in the earthen tectonics of the material.

The program also addresses the need for dynamic spaces, adaptable to different moments: private, social, and intimate social areas, interconnected by spatial landmarks that enhance the connection to the exterior and transitions within the volume.

This approach represents an opportunity for symbiotic relationships between the interior and exterior, transitional spaces, and the natural conditions of the terrain in harmony with the architectural volume.
