Casa Velia is a project designed to meet the need for a compact and functional two-story housing program, maximizing the use of every space while providing warmth to the interior of the home.
The house is contained within a simple, bold volume, framed by two load-bearing walls and a sloped roof that creates varying interior heights.
The other two sides of the volume respond to the context: at the back (north), a “blind” wooden façade is revealed through sliding panels that allow for ventilation and mark the main entrance. At the front (south), a glass façade opens onto the garden terrace and offers views of the surrounding ensemble.
