Bar Zapote emerges as the result of an analysis of the traditional typologies of the Yucatán Peninsula—a process of evolution and the blending of cultures, influences, and customs deeply rooted in family life.
This concept extends into a bar experienced as the living room of the Rosewood Mayakoba hotel, where a warm and informal atmosphere invites all guests to feel at home, encouraging the creation of connections and dialogue among visitors.
Local and honest materials, textures that evoke the past, and a patina of use throughout the spaces come together within an atmosphere that evolves over the course of the day, offering different moments and degrees of social interaction.
