Project: Estudio Atemporal
Location: La Paz, Baja California Sur, México
Area: 201 m2
Year: 2021
The organization of the program is achieved through distributive axes that cross the interior of the house from one side to the other, polarizing gradients of privacy according to the use of each space while simultaneously allowing for multiple circulation paths enriched by plays of light, changes in ceiling height, and landscaped focal points.
Internally, views are generated from all spaces toward the central garden, establishing a dialogical relationship between the architectural volumes: the new house, the guest house, and the pre-existing house.
A palette of neutral textures and a highly homogeneous chromatic range was selected, with specific accents of color in the living area, bathrooms, and kitchen. This creates strong visual contrasts along the circulation paths, allowing the finishes to integrate seamlessly into the architectural composition.
