Project: Estudio Atemporal
Location: Ocotitlán, Morelos, México
Area: 396 m2
Year: 2022
Casa Ocotitlán begins with the development of an architectural volume closely related to the natural context and its domestic vocation.
The siting and proportions of the volumetry are decisive in maximizing the use of the land, capturing favorable views, integrating with the landscape, and accommodating a program conceived as a gradient of privacy, developed through fluid sequences of movement accompanied by nature.
From the site entrance, different scales are experienced, and paths are proposed that allow moments to be gradually revealed, as well as the duality established by the site—generating contained courtyards on one side and an expansive garden on the other.
The architectural language is consolidated through a simple and clear material palette, resulting from volumetric synthesis and a respectful stance toward the context and local construction practices.
