Project: Estudio Atemporal
Location: Ocotitlan, Morelos, México
Area: 477 m2
Year: 2021
The approach to the development of the project begins by identifying a series of guiding axes, or design principles, which are articulated together to establish the necessary framework for a set of specific decisions that help define the paths to follow, the criteria to be considered, and the conditions inherent to the project: interaction with the terrain, a natural material palette, spatial fluidity, independence between uses, and inhabitable scales.
Through a series of analyses and explorations between these different principles and the specific programmatic requirements, the project is revealed through the development of a coherent spatial, formal, and experiential sequence—one that is in harmony with its surroundings and in which activities gradually unfold.
