Project: Estudio Atemporal
Location: Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra no. 104 Col. Granada, Miguel Hidalgo, C.P 11520, CDMX
Area: 953 m2
Year: 2018
The project emerges from the need to create a new space for an advertising agency seeking to integrate its team in a more dynamic way, while transforming its working methodologies in order to encourage moments of creativity and foster more effective communication.
Within a space previously occupied by a mechanical workshop, the architectural program is developed to include private offices, meeting rooms, reception, kitchen area, dining space, terrace, and a central area composed of collective worktables accompanied by a tiered seating area. This central space becomes the heart of the project—a kind of agora where the gathering of people encourages dialogue, a key element within the office’s operational needs.
The existing structure served as an important point of departure for transforming the space without stripping it of its past value. By integrating the new program while maintaining a renewed yet familiar appearance, the former mechanical workshop is reimagined as a contemporary workspace.
