Given the building’s significant historical value, the starting point for the intervention was the creation of a completely independent element that would not compromise the house’s structure, while integrating with the original volume through the alignment of floor levels to provide clear and simple access.

This new volume contrasts sharply with the existing building through its defined materiality, clearly expressing the contemporary intervention.

Using part of the house’s existing courtyard, the new building is set in place as a steel structure housing four levels, accommodating three new office spaces with different requirements and a kitchen on the ground floor.

A través de muros de block, duela en pisos y plafones, cancelerías de cristal y mobiliario de madera se compone la paleta de materiales utilizada para volver cada una de las oficinas espacios acogedores que a pesar de ser reducidos (22 m2 por nivel) resultan amplios y cómodos por la distribución y funcionalidad de cada elemento.
