TERROJA

TERROJA

Project: Estudio Atemporal
Location: San Simón el Alto, Valle de Bravo, Estado de México
Area: 250 m2
Year: 2024

The project offers an opportunity for ecological regeneration in a forest, serving as the setting for a series of modular, self-sustaining homes with minimal impact on the land.

Throughout the forest, the pavilions are gently placed on the terrain, making use of clearings, pre-existing paths, and eroded areas, occupying minimal surface area while respecting the natural surroundings and embracing the sensory experiences the trees provide.

A series of restorative actions guide the enhancement of the vegetal and water landscapes, creating moments of pause to appreciate the forest and foster its growth.

Living here is always oriented toward the forest and its conditions, turning each habitable pavilion into an immersive experience that reminds us of the unique privilege of being in such an extraordinary place.
